Paleo Diet – What is the Difference Between a Super Food and a Paleo Diet?

Super foods and the Paleo diet are two different diets that are similar in many ways, and one of the main differences is in their focus on a super food that should be consumed in moderation. There are many foods that have been linked to increased longevity and good health, but none of them are super.

Fruits and vegetables can be great for our bodies, especially when they are properly processed. Those who follow the Paleo diet are not against eating vegetables or fruits. They just recommend that those foods are eaten in moderation.

Some fruit and vegetable advocates recommend avoiding animal proteins in order to avoid high levels of animal fat in their diets. They use the argument that animals were the only animals that could die from the Big Five Diseases before humans, and therefore, that animals are the only ones who can be sacrificed to save our civilization. Those are fallacious arguments, and they are based on an outdated view of how animals die.

While it may be true that animals are the only ones that can be killed from the Big Five diseases, they do not have high levels of IGF-1, a substance that has been associated with increased risks of cancer. It is likely that the best long term solution to maintaining optimal health is through a diet that contains natural growth hormones. In fact, they recommend a diet that is low in animal protein in order to protect against the loss of bone mass in older people.

Of course, most of us are not interested in cutting back on animal protein, so many claim that there are no risks from eating too much animal protein. However, many of these same people have some pretty big concerns about the Super Food list. They have strong opinions about the foods that make up the list, and they aren’t willing to change their minds.

I understand where they are coming from, because I have been in the business for several years, and I know from experience that the entire world is hungry for a better way to eat. When there is a debate about whether or not something should be added to a list of super foods, everyone involved always agrees that it should.

The problem is that many of these people are in denial about the fact that they are being manipulated. They believe that the word “super” means that there is no limit to the nutrients that can be contained in a food. This may be true in the world of entertainment, but for a person trying to live a healthy lifestyle, it is important to be aware of the limits.
